V.I. Pets was started by a Brother and sister, John and Nancy Van Iwaarden. In August 1988 they started their first Pet Store in the Westshore Mall, Holland, Michigan. Over the years, V.I. Pets grew to it's present day chain of Four Pet Stores in the Grand Rapids and Holland, Michigan area. They are still owned by the same brother and sister to this day!! V.I. Pets is the only Full line, Full service pet stores left in the Grand Rapids market. V.I. Pets carries Freshwater and Saltwater Fish and corals, Puppies,Kittens,Birds,Reptiles,Small Animals,Ferrets, and has the area's only Exotics License which permits them to sell Chincillas,sugar gliders,hedgehogs,praire dogs, and More!!
